Each new generation of public safety professionals brings increasing familiarity with advanced wireless data services and social media technologies. These "younger" generations of first responders will also witness fundamental changes to public safety communications, as they finally advance to be on par with technologies that are available in the consumer marketplace. The emergence of "4G" wireless services, coupled with rapidly evolving social media applications, will transform first responder communications capabilities.

Please join APCO's Washington, DC-based Government Relations team for an informal discussion on the intersection between public safety communications, technology, social media, and advocacy with Federal agencies, the Administration, and Capitol Hill from 5—7 pm.
