APCO Holds Flash Day on March 1st
Association will offer one day of bonus savings on Annual Conference registration
Daytona Beach, FL—February 10, 2012— Public safety practitioners planning to attend the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials (APCO) International Annual Conference & Expo can now enjoy additional savings offered by the association on March 1st.
The 78th Annual Conference will be held in Minneapolis, Mn. from August 19th -22nd, 2012.
On the first day of registration, March 1, 2012, APCO will hold “Flash Day” during which 
Full, Associate and Commercial APCO members in good standing can secure a full conference registration for $325, a savings of $100 off the Early Registration Fee.
The APCO International Conference& Expo combines professional educational and informational sessions with an exhibit hall featuring a variety of products and services used by public safety communications officials. More than 5,400 people attended the Conference and Expo, an 11% increase over the 2010 event in Houston. In addition, there were 709 booths on display in the exhibit hall.
APCO has also worked with Minneapolis hotels and national travel companies to procure additional discounts for attendees.
“We are at a crucial time in public safety communications, with all of the technological advances, increased public expectations and tight budgets. We want to make it easy for as many practitioners to attend as possible so we’re doing whatever we can to help fit it in their budget,” explained Lisa C. Williams, director of events and corporate outreach.
